The Supernova LED 270-watt grow light produces more light than a 1,000-watt HID light at a fraction of the cost. Designed as the big brother to the UFO, the Supernova features higher light output and adjustable lighting controls which can be tailored in terms of the color spectrum by using a red knob and a blue knob to independently adjust the spectrum of light ratios. The Supernova clearly outshines the UFO LED grow light with three times the brightness, while still only using one-eighth the energy consumption of a typical HPS grow light with a comparable output, providing enough high lumens lighting to cover a five foot by five foot growing space.
